Philmar Alipayo Pulls Off A 'Pechay' Surprise For Andi Eigenmann

 

On August 16, 2020, we published our story of the, er, unique bouquets moms have received from their husbands.

 

The photo that started it came from a member of our Facebook group, the Smart Parenting Village. (A special shout out to the members because they never fail to brighten our day.) Lois Oracion shared her bouquet of malunggay from her hubby, who wanted to show his support for her breastfeeding journey.

After Lois shared it, we got photos of bouquets of talbos ng kamote, cauliflower, spinach, bokchoy. You can find all the images here.

So, as it turned out, vegetable plants have always been a popular choice for men. In fact, Philmar Alipayo showed he has long been a fan of veggie bouquets. On Instagram, he shared an image that he described as his first photo with his better half, Andi Eigenmann.

The caption read: “Ato first pic! Remember I give you pichay instead of a flower. Mingaw nako sa imo mahal ko.”

Translation, according to GMA News: “Our first pic! Remember I gave you pechay instead of a flower. I miss you, my love.”

The kilig factor of this caption is through the roof! We are pretty sure Andi has not stopped swooning, too, especially when we saw her comments. 

Andi’s first response was, “OMG!” (We get it, girl). And then she added, “I’ve been looking for this pic you said nawala!”

Philmar, who celebrated his birthday last August 17, kept this photo to himself, probably wondering when to spring it as a surprise to the love of his life. That he chose a moment when there didn’t seem to be an occasion like an anniversary except he just missed her makes it even more special.
